I had to detach the lower pan and work on the blots and nuts. Once the prep work was done, installation of new blots and new blades was not a problem. Make sure to take all safety precautions, have the right tools, know how to work with them and you need to be mechanical knowledgeable person. When you order parts call Messick's salesperson (Chuck Adams) was great help in identifying the right parts with accuracy. It was a fun project. Now I have an overhauled Rotary Cutter with the best parts and ready for many years to come.
