Remove the battery cables from the battery. Remove the black exhaust manifold cover. Remove the two wires connecting to the old starter. Remove the two nuts holding the starter to the engine block. Take care to not lose the nuts and the washers. Remove the wire assembly attached to the lower nut/bolt. Slide off the old starter. Inspect the gear teeth inside the block for damage. Reverse the procedure for the installation of the new starter. Test the new starter before reattaching the exhaust manifold cover. Done!
