Do not take the back of the cylinder loose from the tractor. Just take the 4 bolts out holding the bracket the opposite end is screwed to and pry it off. From here you can disassemble and reassemble the piston without even removing the lines. If you have a front-end loader like mine, has you cannot get the pin out of the back of the cylinder without removing a lot of nuts and bolts. Mine is a New Holland TC30. Had I known this way it would shave an hour off the job.
