Farmers and Friends a wonderful day to you! Looking at the bracket picture you will notice that the lower hole for a narrow head screw has very little metal left after the hole was drilled, this is the most vulnerable point, and I replaced 3 now but this time I made a modification. Two recommended ways to reinforce the weak spot is; Use a hardened washer to increase the surface area that will hold the bracket down. You may need a little longer screw to accommodate , my case it was fine. Next for all the fabrication folks use a pice of 1/8 to 3/16 carbon steel, make a template to fit on top of bracket, keep it squared as possible not grinding more material than needed to fit flush, drill holes to match. There may be a need for longer screws so to have plenty of thread depth to grab. Good luck and happy fixing Brother Ron
