The knob needs to be opened by removing the two screws that hold the halves together. Unsolder the two wires from the switch, pop it out, insert the new switch and solder the wires. Screw handle back together.

Had to unsolder the old switch and the horn button to remove the handle because i also changed the boots. A little tight to solder them back on.
