This is a new loader here that's on the new model BX23s that has a really cool system for removing it where you can actually stay on the seat of the tractor the entire time. This is the first tractor that I've ever seen that has the ability to do this. They're really unique and very slick feature. As we step through this, I should tell you, this is the second time that I have done this myself.
These are a prosumer-oriented mower positioned between the commercial V700 series and the residential Z400 series. Take a quick walk around here with me, we'll show you some of the new features on these new models.
We'll do a quick walk around here and explain some of the unique features about these models. These are three tractors that are often very misunderstood in the Kubota product line-up and we'll show you some of those reasons why.
This is a new tractor in the BX series, replacing the BX 25. Let's take a quick walk around here, and we'll show you some of the changes. This is a really important model for us in Kubota's product line. Our dealership sells over 200 BX series tractors a year. For us and our customers, this is a very well accepted and high-volume model in our product range. If would go around the machine here, you can see a lot of places that Kubota made improvements to this tractor.
This model here replaces the prior model which we're lucky enough to have side by side, the KX91. Join me here as we walk around and we’ll point out a couple of new differences on this updated model. The KX91 has been a really popular model for us. We stock quite a few of them both for customers and for our own rental fleet. One of the things that’s made this machine so popular is that this is the heaviest Kubota excavator that we can sell that can fit onto a 10,000 pound trailer.
We're going to do a quick walk around the machine here and show you some of the features and functions of the tractor. See if this may be the right machine for you. Kubota has a rather complex product line and sometimes it's difficult to really establish what is the right tractor for you.
This is a new model that replaces ZD331. Let's take a quick walk around here I'll show you some of the things that have changed. The ZD1500 incorporates a lot of the features that have changed in the ZD1200 series which we've done a video on earlier that you can see right up here if you'd like to click there to go and view that video. We'll do a couple of things that are actually unique on this model.
This is a narrow series tractor targeted towards vineyards and orchards. Let's take a quick walk around here and show you some of the features of this machine. Kubota has actually been without narrow tractors here for almost three years. Part of the reason for that is because tractors have recently gone through some major emissions changes, now requiring diesel particulate filters under 75 horsepower in order to meet tier four final.
Today we're going to go over some service and maintenance practices on an SSV75, this is a brand new machine, pilot control. We're going to go over how to tilt the cab. How to change the oil, where all the filters are, fuel tank and all of that good stuff.
Today, we're going to discuss about the Kubota L6060 tractor. This tractor is 60 engine horsepower, its a four cylinder turbocharged engine, it has 53 PTO horse power. It comes standard with four wheel drive, as well the hydro-static transmission. You can get this tractor with either an air conditioned heated cab or a fold down rollbar.
One of the things you cannot miss about this machine is the profile of it. You can see as I stand here beside it, this is a much lower tractor that you typically would find in a 111 horsepower machine. You can also notice the huge set of tires that are on this machine here in the front and the back. These tractors are typically sold into two unique applications a one that is in the orchards where they need a load machine to get underneath the low branches and also into poultry and chicken houses where they're typically dealing with lower height rubes, they need a high horsepower machine that they can fit inside the barn.
Normally, we're used to walk it around tractors outside but these machines aren't going to ship for anywhere between about two to six months here at this point. So we're going to go through a quick slideshow of things from pitchers and stuff that we took at the meeting to give you an idea what some of the new products are going to be.
We're going to do a quick walk around here on these machines today, show you a couple of features and some of the things that make them unique. Let's see if this the tractor that might suit for your operation. Many tractors in Kubota's product line, sometimes it's difficult to know exactly what tractor is right for you. Our typical customer for a Standard L Series tractor is somebody who's doing a little bit of everything, to be frank. Small horse farms, small dairy operations, landowners with ten or more acres for the most part.
As you can see we've been Kubota customers for quite a while. Here's our older 3430 we use. For smaller tasks, we have smaller implements to use like this wash rig. We don't need a lot of horsepower, 35 horsepower range. It works great around the farm.
We're out here today with the Kubota F Series front mower. Take a quick walk around this machine here. We'll show you some of its features and options. There's some really unique applications for front mowers and we sell them into a lot of surprising applications. A lot of time these are going to places that really have a lot of acreage to mow, where guys are going to be sitting on a machine for six, seven and eight hours.
We're out today to have a short conversation about sizing implements to your tractor with skid loader couplers becoming very common on front loaders and category one three-point hitches on even the smallest of tractors.
We're out today with two of Kubota M7 series tractors a 171 premium KBT and a 151 standard. We're going to go around both of these tractors here and show you some of the differences in features of what exactly makes a standard tractor standard and a premium tractor premium. When we get into the world of agricultural tractors there's a lot of differences between models and when we've gone through compact tractors and utility tractors and other models
These tractors from the factory will have single stage air filter boxes on them and if you go to parts some other product lines that Kubota has, you can actually add a secondary air cleaner inside of the primary one to help protect your engine.
Today we've got a BX that that has transmission issues. We're going to let you peek inside, take a look at what happens inside a transmission. This video is by no means instructional, it's just to give you a point of view and take a peek inside a transmission and let you see what's going on inside.
We’ve done a lot of technical overviews on a BX series and a lot of overviews on a B Series but there are certain things that will cause a customer to opt for one tractor over another. We’re going to do a quick walk around and explain some of the demands that your application may have that would push you into a potentially larger or smaller machine.
We're out with the Kubota K008 excavator. Mini, mini excavator or as my wife would say cute. Now we're going to take a quick walk around this machine here, take a look at it and see if it's something that might be right for your application.
We're here today with a Kubota M5660 Utility Tractor. Hard to imagine now but we've been doing tractor walk-arounds for almost a year and we're still not the whole way through the product line. It just show you something about the incredible variety of the machines that are in the Kubota product line. This M series machine is considered an Economy Special Utility Tractor. We're going to walk around in here and point out some of the things that make it a little bit different from its more deluxe brethren, and the 6060 and the 7060, and show you some of the good applications that you might be able to find for this machine.
I know you guys are going to start to think of us a little bit as the Kubota BX site and, you know, a little bit of that can be explained in the importance that this product line is to us. Our dealership literally sells nearly a BX series tractor every day. We sold over 250 of these machines last year and our customers couldn't be happier. It is the highest volume single product that our dealership has it's subcompact tractors. Reading through the comments that a lot of guys have left on our videos in the past.
I’m going to take a quick trip through the process here of taking the backhoe off of the new BX23s tractor loader backhoe. This backhoe was fairly similar to tractors that they’ve had in years gone past but there’s one significant difference in the way that the backhoe releases from the tractor here that we want to detail. You come right over here with me and look down here underneath the fender. Most backhoe is usually pin onto the back of the tractor and in the case of this machine. This is a little bit different.
We did our first video on Kubota's new SSV series of skid loaders about a year and a half ago when they first came out. We're going to take a couple minutes of your time today to go around and tell you a little bit of our experience with this model over the last year or so, tell you some of the strong points and weak points that we've seen in this machine, and hopefully educate you a little bit more about Kubota's line of skid loaders.
It's Thursday. We're going to put three minutes on the clock down here, and answer the question for you today, why are internet package deals for tractors a bit of a scam?
One of the most cringe-inducing things that we see a new tractor owner do is to modify their roll bar in some way. Oftentimes, guys get the idea that they want to put lights up on the ROPS or a nice bright light bar across the top or put a toolbox or something back around the side over here. People can come up with all kinds of things that they would like to attach onto this structure.
We're out today to show you around our dealership a little bit and show you how equipment arrives here from different manufacturers and some of the work that we do in order to get the machine prepped and ready to send out to you.
I'm standing out today beside this Kubota R630, one of their bigger wheel loaders that they offer. I thought it'd be interesting to show you today the ways that we actually use one of these pieces. Guys always seem to be interested at the equipment that we choose to use ourselves. We actually use the R530 wheel loader at our different locations for loading and unloading trucks.
Today we have a customer setting up his excavator using a pin grabber coupler. I'm going to show you the pin grabber, exactly how it works and also the traditional mechanical coupler as well. And show you some of the two pros and cons of the different coupler systems that you can have between your buckets and your excavators. So the coupler that you'll typically find on most excavators is a traditional mechanical coupler.
We're back now from the Annual Kubota Dealer Meeting. This is the time of year here every October where a big meeting is held for the introduction of new products, new business initiatives, and those kinds of things. This year it was held in Phoenix, Arizona.
We are working through a series of comparative videos between Kubota's different series tractors. We're up here in the upper end now between an MX and an M Series machine. This is one of the first places in this comparison series that you're going to start to see some very, very clear differences for a very, very different customer. Let's take a quick walk around these two tractors here and we could show you what makes an MX right for one person and an M series right for another.
we’ll give a short conversation and do a comparison between Kubota's Grand L Series and Kubota's MX Series tractors. Take a quick walk around here with me and we’ll show you some of the differences between these two series.
We're out today with several Kubota machines, and we're going to take a moment to show you some of the differences when you move from a B-Series tractor into an L-Series tractor. Take a walk here with me around these two machines, and we'll show you some of the things that make these tractors tick.
We've got out today a cab one of Kubota BX-series tractor. This is Kubota 's new factory cab offering for this machine. One of the things we always find frustrating about a lot of our tractor manufacturers is that they never do a very good job of giving us a lot of information about the accessories for these machines. While we're out here today we've got one of these in a lot, we're going to take an opportunity to walk around here show you the way that this thing fits onto the machine and show you some of its features and benefits.
We're going to to go through the process today of putting the Front Quick Hitch system onto the BX Series tractor. This hitch is used for the front snowblower and front blade systems. It has a couple of different parts and moving pieces here. We're going to show you exactly how the setup of this system works to switch from, say, a loader configuration to a snowblower.
We're out today with the Kubota BX2816 50 inch front snowblower for the BX80 series tractors. This is a unique piece that we have out here today typically we get a little frustrated when our vendors don't give us a whole lot of good information about front attachments and those kinds of things. We're going to spend some time on this one and hopefully be able to give you a little bit of information it might be hard to come by when flipping through a piece of literature.
Back in 2012, Kubota purchased a Kverneland Group, which we primarily knew here in the US as Vicon. Those pieces were sold as Vicon and, also, under a whole bunch of different manufacturers, painted different colors, but Kubota is now the owner of that company, the owner of all that technology and assets. Hay rakes, tedders, disc mowers, those kinds of things, you will see a lot of commonality with Vicon equipment. However, the baler is different.
Neil: Neil from Messick's here, we’re out today with the Kubota hay rake, joining me here today is Anthony Rhodes, our Kubota hay tools product specialist. We're going to do a quick walk around this piece here, show you some of its features and functions and have a conversation about what customer might be best served by a rake like this.
Neil: Neil from Messick's here. We’re out today with a Kubota hay tedder. Joining me is Anthony Rhodes, my local Kubota hay tools product specialist. We do a quick walk around this piece here to show you some of the features and functions of it. I talked a little bit about hay tedders, what they do and why you should use one. If you watch a lot of our YouTube videos, we do videos on construction equipment and compact tractors and zero turn mowers and all kinds of stuff but if you've not been initiated to hay tools before you might think that a rake and a tedder look very similar but they actually have very different functions. Anthony, what is the difference between a rake and tedder?
Our typical customer for this tractor tends to be a small hay operator, hobby farm, small farmer for looking for a utility tractor. Generally, Kubotas do best in haying and loader applications. This tractor is an incremental step through the rest of the M series so it's replacing the M8560 and the M9960.
Kubota construction launched into their truck loader series in late 2010, they've been very successful. Our dealership is to deliver 200 of these machines just a robust solid machine
Kubota has been building this series of diesel zero turns for the better part of probably 15 years. This is the third major iteration of these machines, the third major redesign that has been done.
This is the most popular Tractor that our dealership sells. Last year we sold 196 of these guys. We were hoping for four more to hit the 200 mark, but it didn't just come together. It looks like this year we are on track to do that actually. Sales for this product are very, very strong. It's a very popular tractor for us. Let's do a quick walk around here we'll show you why it's the top selling subcompact tractor of the entire last decade.
One of the best features that we have on these loaders when you lift them up and down is the ability to go and keep the bucket level as the loader goes up and down. You'll notice that a lot of lesser tractors and lesser loaders, it's very difficult to do this function smoothly and you'll see something like this when the loader goes up and then the bucket moves, and then the loader goes up and then the bucket moves. Kubota does a really good job in the way they plumb these valves and making stroking multiple functions really easy in simple operation and that's just not the case even in a lot of other leading tractors out there.
Today we're going to do a short review on the Kubota BX25 Sub-Compact Tractor. We're going to walk around here and do a layout on what the basic controls are on this machine, give you an idea of how to operate a machine like this. The concepts that we're going to cover here are going to apply to most Kubota products specifically those in the BX series. Today that would be the BX25, BX1870, 2370, and 2670.
There are two chassis sizes in the B series, this is the larger of the frames that are offered in this size. Let's take a quick walk around here, we'll take a look at these models and see if this is a tractor that may be right for you. Kubota offers several different configurations of these tractors depending on exactly what your needs are.
This is the loader that's used on the B50 series tractors including the B2650/3350 and 3350SU. Both are open station and cab variants. We're going to do a quick walk around here on this loader to show you some features and how it's removed from the tractor.
When you look at most machines under about 60 horsepower or so, hydrostatics are probably 95% of what's out there. There are two other options, though, that you will see in some of the L Series machines that are a little bit more uncommon.
Kubota has been the leader in the diesel utility vehicle space here for nearly ten 10 years, commanding a vast majority of the market. This machine is a lot different than a lot of the other machines that you'll find out there, and Kubota has made a lot of improvements here for this latest iteration of this machine. Let's take a quick look.
We were lucky enough to have five of the six different variations of Kubota's BX Series tractor all in stock at the same time. To take a quick walk through each model here with me and we'll point out some of the differences as this tractor has grown up over the years.
This tractor occupies a unique space in Kubota's lineup. Let's take a quick walk around here and take a look at some of the new features.
Today we're going to go over servicing a BX series tractor. Kubota has gone the extra-mile put all the filters we're going to need inside this box. We're going to un-box this, show you all the filters that it comes with, show you where they go on your BX tractor. All right. The first thing we're going to do is we're going to un-box it. We'll open up the box, take a look and see what's inside. The first thing we're going to pull out, we got two fuel filters.

The demand and excitement among our customers and our staff here is probably a new record among products that we've had through here before.
We're partnering with the Hershey Bears for the remainder of the 2013-2014 season. Checkout the promo video that will run for the Kubota BX-Series
Kubota has really delivered a quality of residential zero turn out at very attractive price. To be honest, we where not thrilled with having yet ANOTHER zero turn mower to sell, but these guys really did it right.
T&D Excavating is starting on a building project we are doing. Check out how their KX080-3 with the double boom was able to rip out our rotting loading dock.
Kubota often takes a conservative stance when it comes to comparing to other products. They stepped out a bit with this video, and did a great job of point out actual factual differences.
