Meet the Lane Shark LS-3, a lightweight rotary cutter designed to tackle a range of tasks, from clearing overgrown roadways to light land management and property maintenance. This versatile tool effortlessly handles branches, brush, saplings, and underbrush with diameters of up to 2-3 inches, offering 11 adjustable cutting positions for various cutting angles. The Lane Shark LS-3 is compatible with most FEL tractors, attaching easily to the front with SSQA or JD Hook & Pin-Style attachment systems, and adapters are available for other applications. Despite its robust capabilities, this machine remains lightweight at just under 320 lbs. For optimal performance, your tractor should provide a hydraulic flow rate of at least 5 GPM. Operating the Lane Shark requires rear remotes or a third function, with pressure sourced solely from the remote, and return flow directed to the sump (avoid auxiliary hydraulics). Equipped with #8 ORB inlets, it requires a minimum inside diameter of 3/8" for optimal function. Note that some tractors with higher hydraulic flow rates may necessitate the high-capacity LS-3 model. Keep in mind that the Lane Shark LS-3 is not compatible with diverter valves or skid steers, and hoses and couplers are not included with the mower unit; options are available from Lane Shark to complete your setup.
