The BX2814A is a 60-inch PTO-driven rotary broom that mounts on the BX2810 front hitch. Its chain, driveline and bearings need grease more often than most implements, every 4 to 24 hours depending on the point. If the broom is used less than 20 hours a year, do all of the maintenance at least once a year, after each storage period and after each wash.
| Interval | Chain every 4 hours. Driveline crosses, pivots and drive bearings every 8 hours. Driveline slip joint and brush bearings every 24 hours. Gearbox oil check every 40 hours, change every 100 hours. |

Storage
Clean the broom, make any repairs, replace damaged decals, touch up worn paint and lubricate it. When it is dry, oil the moving parts but keep oil off the bristles. Store the broom on blocks so the bristles do not touch the ground, with the swivel wheels pointed forward. If it will sit for more than two weeks, support both sides so the brush is clear of the floor; otherwise the bristles take a set. Cover the bristles if they are in direct sunlight.
Replace worn brush wafers with 77700-07018 polypropylene or 77700-07019 steel wafers, or replace the whole brush with the 77700-08353 polypropylene set. If a grease fitting will not take grease, replace it with 75599-81521.
The front-mount attachment line, including this broom, is shown in our video:
